Baseball Season has started...Or has it?

Snowing

Brady and Ben started baseball this April. They have loved being outside and playing ball again. The Salt Lake Spring weather has snowed out some of our games and last week they played in the snow. I couldn't believe it. It has been COLD out there. We bundle up and prepare to freeze.

Tyson has loved being outside. He keeps asking when is he going to go to Baseball practice. He sure knows how to play the part. It is pretty cute to watch him play, run bases, pretend to pitch and catch. He is at an adorable age. I love two year olds. Two weeks ago I was doing laundry and I found rocks in his pant pockets. I don't know why I was checking his pant pockets but good thing I did.

I love my kids and am so grateful for them. I love being a mom.

Easter Fun

The KIDS. Tyson is off somewhere eating candy or pretending to be Tron.

This is where Tyson might have been... I wish I had taken more pictures. There were too many "Kodak" moments...I was too busy soaking it all in. Thanks for inviting us.

Orrr

He may have been eating candy or chasing chickens.

Did you notice its sunny? The clouds cleared at the perfect time...

We have had a wonderful Easter Weekend. We started the day off with Easter surprises for the kids. The kids had complained that the Easter Bunny that visits us "doesn't bring very much candy". I didn't realize that this was cause for disappointment.

This year a different Easter Bunny came to visit....

He brought toothpaste with the candy.

Craig and Jenine Neibaur, Nathans aunt and uncle invited us over for an Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch. It was such a treat to see them and their family. Hopefully we will see Jake and Kristen this summer.

An extra special treat were the Neibaur Bunnys. I completely forgot to ask the names of the bunny's. They have two bunnies and chickens. The kids had so much fun. They loved playing with Ben Neibaurs boys.

Holly is expecting and she finds out soon whether the boys will welcome a sister or brother. Their cute family just moved back in town this year. We were sad we missed Ben's Open House for his orthodontist practice. We will be seeing it pretty soon...all our kids need braces.

Easter Dinner

Eden and I agreed that Zuzet's Butterfly cookie was our Favorite.

Just when I thought the day couldn't have been any better, my cousin/long lost sister, came over with her boys. We really enjoyed their visit. Chance and Kaleb have grown so much since we last saw them. Thanks for making our dinner extra special.

Zuzet helping Tyson with his Resurrection Roll (Resurrection Rolls is one of our favorite Easter Traditions). Just for journaling sake I will list our Easter Traditions for FUN...

10. Eating Candy (Apparently our Bunny doesn't bring enough of it)
9. Easter Egg Hunt
8. Ham and Funeral Potatoes for dinner
7. Painting Eggs

6. Dying Eggs (very different from painting)

5. Making my boys wear matching clothes. (This is getting harder and harder)

4. Going to Grandma Nottage or Medina (This was our first year that we didn't get to see either of our them)

3. Church isn't so much a "Tradition" because we are there every week but I do love hearing testimonies of the Atonement and Resurrection. I love focusing on the JOY the Savior and Heavenly Father offer.

2. Resurrection Rolls (We bake Marshmallows in Crescent Rolls and tell the story of the Resurrection)

1. Spring/Sunshine/Flowers all evidence of the Beauty all Around and the Light of the World.

Family Visits for 3 BYU Graduations

My Uncle and aunt Benita and Gabriel came up for the graduation of Israel, Pable, and Maribel. It was nice to have them stop by and spend Thursday afternoon with us. My Grandmother Emilia also came up with them and it was extra special to be able to visit with her. Unfortunately, I had to work that night so I couldn't make it to their graduations (8am and 10am). I am still so proud of them for being such wonderful people and granduating for the Y is pretty spectacular too. Congratulations Pablo, Israel, and Maribel.

This is my Grandmother Emilia. I love her. I only wish we could have had more time. She was one of my first "patients". One of the summers that I spent with my grandparents she had jumped out of the RV and step landed on a nail. I don't remember all the details but I remember her almost passing out and me pulling the nail out and cleanning the wound. Looking back, it was a miracle I didn't pass out.

Shes got the touch. Tyson fell asleep in her arms. She was holding him and before I knew it, he was out.

I snuck this adorable picture of Tyson painting eggs Wednesday. He made a mess, but was really enjoying himself. I feel bad that I completely forgot to take pictures of the rest of the kids. That's what I get for worrying about messes.
