Hugs and Kisses

Once upon a time, I declared "my boys will never play with guns". Then, my not yet, two year old Brady ate his toast in the shape of an "L" and said "pow pow pow". Can anyone say "foot in mouth". My boys are now obsessed with guns, swords, sabers, you name it. And so, I wasn't surprised when Tyson my one year old mastered guns and shooting. Thanks Brady and Ben.... But my heart just melted when this photo was taken. Benjamin was sad and crying, and Tyson out of the blue walked over to him and hugged him and gave him some loves. It was so sweet. Especially, since Tyson has been too busy discovering the world around him. He doesn't let us hug and cuddle him as often as I would like. My kids are the best cuddlers.

Springdale 2009

The St Patrick's Day Parade in Springdale is always a March highlight for us. Springdale is a small town out of Zion's National Park and every year the have a parade and throw out candy for the children. This year Brady sustained a knew injury as he sprinted for candy. Hence, the sad look and bleeding knee. This was also shortly after Eden decided she wanted bangs. It wasn't until I found her hair in the waste basket that we found out she wanted bangs.
