One of my favorite families was sealed last week in the Salt Lake Temple. We really felt blessed to be there with them on this special occasion.

Eden and Brady earned Soaring Eagle Awards for Oakcrest Elementary. I am so proud of all my kids. Ben was super close and I want to give him the Soaring Ben award because he has worked so hard this school year. I really have wonderful wonderful kids.

Day at the Park

I LOVE THESE KIDS. We went to Wheeler Farm and explored around. It has been forever since I went to the park with them. I'm so happy its finally SPRING

BEN earns his BEAR

Ben finished his Bear requirements earlier this month and was awarded his Badge. I was in the building doing a mini MTC for the youth so I didn't take any pictures. Thank goodness I got this one. I am so proud of Ben for the wonderful Boythat he is.

D.A.R.E., DANCE, DUG OUT

Earlier this year Brady Graduated from the DARE program. Drug Abuse Resistance Education. For part of their reward there was a DARE Day at Lagoon. The kids went to school to take their test and then we headed out for a day at the theme park. I wasn't expecting much... But we loved it. The kids had lots of fun and Brady rode his first upside down roller coaster, Colossus.
That same night was Eden's dance recital "JUST BE YOU". Eden's Dance performance was wonderful. We were all so proud of her. Her Daddy got her flowers.
Saturday night we had Brady's and Ben's baseball games at the same time. Ben's team was down 0-5 and finished 7-6 in the last two innings. It was quiet the game. Tyson was the honorary team coach as he yelled out to Ben to keep his "elbow up" and "be ready Ben". Tyson has developed quite a fan base out in the baseball fields. This one cute grandma brings Tyson Teddy Grahams and he prefers to sit with his "friend" than hang out with his family. I'm perfectly fine with it because he actually sits for her. Brady played the Mariners the undefeated team and had been winning up until the last inning and then they lost by one run. It was the best ball playing I have seen all season.
Nathan and I are loving the weather. We love rainy days and sunny days. We can't wait to go hiking and camping.

Tyson crashed while relaxing during laundry day.

Ever since mother's day, I have been baking everyday. THANK you Nathan for my Kitchen Aid. One of our most favorite recipes is Leah's chocolate chip cookies. Here is a picture with half my cookies missing, and the cookies left behind all had bites in them. TYSONNNNNN!!!!!!

Gnocchi and Home-Made Pasta Sauce!

At cooking class last night I finally learned how to make gnocchi. Luisa, a wonderful sister from Italy taught us how to make them. I love gnocchis.

Final dish. It was delicious. Can't wait until next cooking class!

Mothers

I have been trying to figure out how to pay tribute to my mom, Janet, Mamicali, and all the wonderful women who have influenced me, molded me, taught me, served me, cared for me and love me regardless of my foolishness. I am still at a loss for words. THANK YOU for all the sacrifices made, all the prayers, said, all the advice given, all the tears shed and for sharing you love and light with me. I love you.
